By accessing and using TapDance (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. This Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age.

2. Description of Service

TapDance is a real-time collaborative music creation platform that allows users to create and share musical patterns in virtual rooms. The Service is provided free of charge and is available on a “as available” basis.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload or share inappropriate or offensive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Use automated scripts or bots without permission
  • Attempt to overload or damage our servers

4. Intellectual Property

Musical patterns created using the built-in sounds are free to use. For custom uploaded sounds:

  • You must have the rights to use any sounds you upload
  • You retain ownership of your uploaded sounds
  • You grant us license to store and play these sounds within the Service
  • You are responsible for any copyright claims related to your uploads

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Service, and operation may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service without prior notice for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may remove your content without notice.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the Service interface.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
